Stage Combat

Stage Combat is a specialist technique in theatre designed to create the illusion of a fight without the danger or harm to the performers. Whether it's sword fighting or hand to hand, we see the fight as a dynamic storytelling device and love to see people of all ages and abilities further their acting potential through the intensity and emotions of a fight.

HEMA is becoming more and more a part of Stage Combat in Scotland and the UK and Sarosa is proud to be highly capable in both! If that wasn't enough, we frequently work closely with Strike Fight Company, Scare Scotland and Plantation Productions in choreographing, performing and directing fights for stage and film.

Saorsa is available to create fight scenes for film, tv and theatre alongside running workshops for all ages and levels. Available workshops include: hand to hand or broadsword.
